Venice & Englewood Microfacial Toning & Microcurrent Sculpting

Available at our salon & spa in Englewood, Microfacial Toning & Microcurrent Sculpting utilizes a device that emits low-level waveforms, or microcurrents, onto the skin which stimulates 32 of the 53 facial muscles. In doing so these microcurrents trigger chemical reactions at a cellular level to enhance the production of natural collagen and elastin—two important natural proteins that help tissue stay connected and firm.

Microcurrents also enhance circulation and work directly on the nerves and muscle fibers. The process eliminates fine lines, creases, and wrinkles, restoring the glow of youthful skin, visibly firming, contouring and lifting of overall droop. Jowls are tightened and are visibly contoured.

Is Microcurrent Sculpting Painful?

The microcurrents are so low that there is no stimulation of sensory nerves, which means there is no noticeable pain. Rather, the currents change muscle tissue, soften scar tissue, and increase circulation and cellular metabolism is increased.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Because the process is cumulative, a client may require 5 or 6 treatments. During that course of treatment the client’s face will become more tightened and toned with each treatment. When a client obtains the desired effect, a maintenance program can then begin. Moreover, although every person does respond individually, skin tissue treated with microcurrent facial toning tends to be long lasting.

Is It Safe?

No known lasting adverse reactions have been reported. In fact the process has a long history of being very safe. Although relatively new to Englewood Microcurrent facial toning has been in use for over 16 years.
